Website in Progress

Currently still working on the website. Having trouble with the links to the pages. These are some of the layouts for the direction that the pages are going right now. Here is the link www.appstate.edu/~buckinghamek/arts2people/home.html

Website Roughs

Just getting the hang of laying out pages. This is not the direction I want to go in the first one. The following roughs are closer to the feel I am trying to achieve for the website. I would like to continue using the same colors from the poster.

Back to the Logo

The logo is a vital part to designing the identity of my organization. After talking with my client earlier last week I decided to re-visit this problem. The original logo that Arts 2 People uses does not clearly read their name. Also hearts are a common symbol used with other companies. My client wants to keep using their current logo. They told me I should try to modernize it. 

Website

The sketch above is brief layout plans for how many pages I am planning to create and what will be on each page. If possible I would like to merge some of the pages. Having 11 pages to design could be a lot to work on, but depending what the time allows will decide. 

Visual Narrative/Working as a System

Working backwards from the poster I decided to try to develop a more organized system. After having contact with my client I took some of the suggestions to improve on the style.

Visual Narrative Rough

My client checked out the posters from the last assignment. They informed me that they wanted to go in a different direction from the ballet dance style. This rough is experimenting with dance silhouette doing break dance. Right now I am thinking of going towards a modern or street dance style.
