I like these better! not sure about which type solution...your original font (the first one in the first column) is working better with this 2, but I do like the last ones in the first two columns. The last two font sizes are a little too big for your 2.

These are definitely on the right track. have you tried making this your self and scanning it in? you could paint your own two and use your own hand print, maybe even use your own handwriting as a type solution. I like the spiral at the other end of the 2, can you make that spiral look a little more delicate and not so chunky? Maybe a little painterly, feathered stroke would make it a nice mark. Keep pushing it, this is getting there.
